Childhood

XXXtentacion's childhood was filled with many struggles. Referring to himself as "a kid of confusion..., thrown into disarray" X lived a rough life. Born Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy on January 23, 1998. Being placed into correctional schools and eventually being kicked out of schools many would say he was not a good kid. Eventually going to jail for many reasons with some allegations being thrown out that were eventually declared false. Jahseh had a rough childhood and struggled to escape it. That was until he found music which he used to express feelings. Writing his first song at the age of 15. This was the beginning of his enticing music career that he used to help others as well as himself. Surrounded by controversy X improved himself finding his purpose in helping others turning his life around for the better.


Rise to Fame

Growing his music career through a site called "Soundcloud" X gained popularity. With the first song on it being called "Vice City" after a video game. Posting different styles of music from sad songs to loud songs expressing and showing all his feelings he began to gain attraction. Creating a group called "Members Only" full of his friends they started releasing music together. More and more fans started coming relating to his music and just having fun listening to his music. X eventually went back to jail with the trend "#FreeX" being spread everywhere bringing more attention to his name. Although the main breakout for X was a song called "Look at me!" filled with vulgar lyrics and anger. The cover for the song was his infamous mugshot racking up plays and bringing attention to him. But not all his music was like this. After he gained attention he flipped his sound and made emotion filled music making sure fans they were not alone and that he was there for them. He started to fins his way in life changing for the better helping struggling kids and creating a fanbase to share emotions with.


Legacy

Jahsehs or better known as XXXtentacions legacy will live on forever. XXXtentacion was shot and killed in his car in florida on June 18, 2018. This is a day many people will remember full of tragedy and sadness. Leaving behind his child and girlfriend as well as family and fans which he also described as family. His death was too soon and shocked the world in many different ways. People from J Cole to Kendrick Lamar payed respects. Fans held memorials and mournings. To this day fans still go to his grave and pay their respects. Although the sadness his positivity still spreads through the world. With many people taking his advice and listening to his music for comfort. As well as the XXXtentacion foundation created in his name helping others. Jahsehs music continues to climb charts and earn awards as well as new music of his being put out. He will not be forgotten easily. He serves as an idol for people throughout the world. He came from such a bad spot in life and came out on top changing himself for the better and helping many others spreading his emotions and helping others with theirs. Even in his last Instagram live he spread a very important message. In the video [NSFW] he told his fans that they CAN do what they want and they CAN "be what they want to be".
